Eloisa Scichilone: Illustrator and Character Designer
Education: - Arts Diploma obtained in 1993
- She is currently teaching Design Appplied to the Character Design, c/o Milan Scuola del Fumetto, and working on her personal projects. She is working in the publishing houses environment, working on school books in Italian and foreign languages, and on the web environment by working on on-line videogames and multimedia projects for specialized magazines. - 2008: together with M.Gandini they release the second book, published by Teramata: "CATORAMA - A Liludori's little adventure". - 2007: together with M.Gandini they release the first book in the Liludori project, "A family Tree", published by Teramata - 2006: together with M.Gandini, they start the Liludori.com project, where they support each other in the text editing and character design. - 2004-2005 : she participates to the realization of the film "Dear Anne" as costume designer, historical researcher and costume supervisor. - 2002: together with Gandini and Picciau she produces the set of small icons CLOTH WORLD - 1999-2003 she participates to the 3D animation project "L'Uovo" (Picciau/Malini/Sinthesis international) as character designer - 1995: she starts working for The Walt Disney Company where she starts as publishing illustrator, and where she starts her collaboration with Mauro Gandini (illustrator and sculptor) - 1995-1994: she works for the best advertisement agencies in Milan as visualizer, and setting up some storyboards, with small fashion houses
Awards: - 2002: 2nd prize in the biggest worldwide iconists contest (iconfactory.com). with the CLOTH WORLD icons - 2003: platinum grand prize at FFF, Bologna with "L'Uovo" - 2008: first prize at the Iconist contest by Pixelgirl.com with the set of icons "Liludori's Nature"
